At Invercargill & Winton Flooring Xtra, we are actively contributing to a cause close to our hearts – the Southland Charity Hospital. As many of you know, this hospital represents a significant step forward in community healthcare, offering free services to those in need within our southern community.
In collaboration with Jacobsen and their longstanding supplier Tarkett, we’ve embarked on a journey to provide the hospital with the best possible flooring solutions. Together with their key supplier Tarkett, they have contributed over $50,000 worth of flooring, enabling us to focus on installing products tailored to the hospital’s diverse needs.
The task of converting the Clifton Club Inn into a functional hospital has been both challenging and rewarding. Our team has been at the forefront, adapting the existing structure to fit a modern hospital’s infrastructure, and ensuring every flooring detail meets the highest standards.
For four months of work, our efforts have covered about 1,000 square metres of specialised flooring. This includes specific requirements for operating theatres, wet areas, and general hospital spaces, ensuring safety, durability and functionality.
Our involvement in this project is more than just a professional commitment; it’s a testament to our dedication to our community. It’s about bringing our expertise to the table and working together towards a common goal – enhancing healthcare accessibility and quality for our fellow Southlanders.
